The American College E3 Education Platform was a Drupal-based video and continuing education platform built for the American College of Financial Services, completed while consulting with Eastern Standard. The American College is an accredited nonprofit institution focused on professional financial services education, and the E3 platform was designed to deliver online coursework and learning resources to its students and credential holders.
The core technical challenge of the project was integrating video content delivery into a Drupal environment in a way that supported structured educational workflows. The platform needed to handle video playback, course navigation, and content access in a manner appropriate for a formal continuing education context — where course completion tracking and content organization by curriculum matter functionally, not just visually.
Custom Drupal theming established the visual framework for the platform, with templates and components built to present educational video content and accompanying materials in a clear, navigable layout.
