B Corp is an organization that administers a certification process measuring and qualifying companies' social and environmental impact. The project was an agile engagement focused on bug fixing and style changes during a site redesign, completed while consulting with Eastern Standard.
The work followed an iterative model — tasks were scoped and addressed in short cycles as the redesign progressed, with the goal of resolving accumulated front-end issues and style inconsistencies rather than building new features from scratch. This type of engagement requires moving quickly across a codebase, diagnosing issues accurately, and delivering fixes without introducing regressions in adjacent parts of the site.
The bulk of the development work involved front-end stylistic fixes for the informational site, including dynamic interface components such as accordions and form elements. The implementation followed Material Design conventions, which informed the visual language for interactive components including button states, input field styling, and elevation behavior.
Working within an agile bug-fix model on an in-progress redesign requires careful coordination with the broader project team to avoid conflicts with ongoing development work. Changes needed to be scoped and tested within the existing site architecture while remaining compatible with the direction the redesign was taking, making clear communication with the Eastern Standard team an operational requirement throughout the engagement.
