Geistlich is a Swiss biotechnology company specializing in regenerative medicine products, particularly for bone and tissue regeneration in dental and orthopedic applications. The project was a focused consulting engagement with Lanmark360 to support a specific digital component of a seminar promotion campaign.
The technical objective was integrating an embedded registration form into a Facebook tab, allowing users to register for a Geistlich biotechnology seminar directly within the Facebook platform. Facebook tabs were a branded page feature that allowed companies to embed custom web content — including forms, games, and promotions — within their Facebook presence, accessible to fans without leaving the platform.
The registration form was integrated using the JotForm API, which provided the form-building and submission infrastructure. Embedding a JotForm-powered form within a Facebook tab required managing the iframe constraints imposed by Facebook's tab environment, ensuring the form rendered correctly within the limited dimensions of the tab container and that form submissions and confirmations functioned properly in that context.
The design for the Facebook tab and form was completed by the creative team at Lanmark360, who managed the overall campaign for Geistlich. Development responsibilities were scoped to the technical integration — connecting the JotForm API, configuring the Facebook tab embed, and ensuring the registration experience worked reliably for event registrants within the Facebook environment.
