MyLabology

MyLabology was a custom-themed WordPress site developed for a diagnostic testing company while consulting with LevLane.

MyLabology was a consumer-facing educational platform developed for a diagnostic testing company, designed to help patients understand their lab test results and the clinical significance of diagnostic data. The project involved developing a custom-themed WordPress site, completed while consulting with LevLane, a Philadelphia-based advertising agency.

Translating diagnostic laboratory information for a patient audience requires a different content approach than a clinician-facing site. Lab results and reference ranges that are routine for a clinician need clear explanation and contextualization for patients who may encounter unfamiliar terminology and have significant anxiety about what their results mean. The site's design and content architecture needed to support this educational mission while maintaining the credibility and accuracy appropriate for a medically-oriented resource.

The custom WordPress theme established a clean, professional visual presentation aligned with the diagnostic and health context. Six screenshots in the portfolio suggest a site with meaningful content depth — likely covering multiple test categories, educational content types, and potentially interactive elements that help users navigate test information relevant to their situation.

The LevLane engagement placed development work within the agency's project workflow for the diagnostic testing client, with design direction and creative managed by the agency team. Development responsibilities covered the custom WordPress theme, page templates, and any custom post types or functionality required to support the site's educational content structure.
