PMC Property Group is a Philadelphia-based real estate management company with a portfolio of multi-unit residential and mixed-use properties across the region. The project was a redesign engagement while consulting with Eastern Standard, focused on front-end development within the company's property management website.
The majority of development work involved front-end stylistic changes aligned with the redesign direction — updating visual presentation, layout, and UI components across the existing site while maintaining the underlying content structure. Redesign work within an established site requires identifying which elements need to change, implementing those changes without introducing functional regressions, and ensuring the new visual treatment holds up consistently across all page types and content configurations.
A technically notable component was developing a carousel modal for presenting images, videos, and virtual tours of sample residential units. For a property management company, this type of media presentation is a central sales tool — prospective tenants browsing properties online rely on photography, video walkthroughs, and virtual tours to evaluate whether a property suits their needs before scheduling an in-person visit. The carousel modal combined multiple media types — static images, video embeds, and interactive virtual tour content — within a single browsable overlay, keeping the user on the property detail page while providing access to the full range of visual content.
The Eastern Standard engagement placed development work within the agency's project team managing the PMC account, requiring coordination with the design and project management staff on front-end deliverables.
