Slavic401k is a financial services company that administers 401k retirement plans for small and mid-sized businesses, operating a co-branded partnership model with employers and benefits brokers. The project was a custom WordPress build for the company's primary marketing site, completed while consulting with Digital Yalo.
The site was built using WordPress with the Elementor page builder plugin, providing the content team with a visual editing environment for creating and updating pages without requiring developer involvement for routine content changes. Elementor's component-based approach was used to build the marketing pages, service descriptions, and informational content appropriate for a financial services company targeting employers and brokers evaluating retirement plan options.
A meaningful portion of the project scope involved server administration and development operations — configuring the deployment pipeline across development, staging, and production environments, managing infrastructure setup, and ensuring the site could be maintained and updated reliably over time. For a financial services company where the website plays a role in B2B lead generation, the reliability and maintainability of the hosting and deployment environment are operational priorities.
The Slavic401k main site was developed alongside the Slavic401k microsite platform project — a WordPress Multisite deployment built to support the company's co-branded partner relationships. The main site and the microsite platform were related but distinct projects, both executed through the Digital Yalo consulting engagement and sharing similar technical conventions in their WordPress architecture.
