The project involved building a custom WordPress site for the community, completed while consulting with LevLane, a Philadelphia-based advertising agency managing several retirement community accounts.
The Buckner organizational context — a faith-based nonprofit — shapes the framing and tone of the community's marketing and communications in ways that distinguish it from secular competitors. The site's content and visual approach needed to reflect the community's values and organizational identity alongside the practical information about living options, amenities, and services that prospective residents need.
Custom WordPress theming established the visual framework for the site, with page templates and layout components suited to a senior living community's marketing site. Prospective residents and their adult children are the primary audience — the site needed to present Ventana by Buckner's living environment, community culture, and service offerings in a format that supports their evaluation process.
This engagement was one of several retirement community sites developed through the LevLane consulting relationship, alongside the main Ventana community, Legacy at Mills River, Retire at Berry, and Searstone.
