What we consult on
Most projects fit one of our solutions. Consulting covers everything else that has a clear finish line:
- Custom web applications: internal tools, portals, calculators and plugins built around how your business works.
- Content management builds and rescues: WordPress, Drupal and headless sites, including migrations, custom themes and long-neglected sites that need bringing back to health.
- Cloud and deployment: hosting on AWS or Google Cloud, deployment pipelines, backups, and moving off servers that someone has to babysit.
- Performance, accessibility and search health for an existing site.
- Design and marketing setup: a design system, analytics, email and the integrations between them.
The tools we use
We favor open-source, well-supported tools over proprietary lock-in. Day to day that means WordPress, Drupal and Laravel on PHP; React, Vue and TypeScript on the front end; Node.js and Python on the server; MySQL and PostgreSQL for data; Tailwind CSS and Figma for design; Docker, Git and GitHub for delivery; and Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud for hosting. On the AI side we work with Claude and OpenAI. The MLM toolkit, 2025 edition has the longer list.
