Imagine Foods is an organic food brand producing soups, broths, and other natural food products. The project involved adding features to an existing Drupal installation for the brand, completed while consulting with Tenthwave, a New York-based digital agency managing the Imagine Foods account.
The project scope was feature addition rather than a full rebuild — the existing Drupal installation provided the platform, and the work focused on extending its capabilities in specific areas. Drupal's content type, taxonomy, and Views system was used to implement custom functionality for structured, searchable content that visitors could browse and filter.
Content types and taxonomies were configured to give the site's product and recipe content a structured data model, enabling Views-based pages that surface filtered content based on category, ingredient, or other attributes relevant to an organic food consumer. Searchable, filterable recipe and product content is a common requirement for consumer food brands, where the ability to browse by dietary preference, meal type, or ingredient helps visitors navigate to relevant content.
Visitor-facing interactive elements were added to improve engagement on the site, alongside tools for managing promotions — functionality that allows the marketing team to create, publish, and control promotional content within the Drupal CMS without requiring developer involvement for each campaign. The consulting engagement with Tenthwave placed these development contributions within the agency's established project workflow for the Imagine Foods account.
