Your staff answer the same questions every day: opening hours, prices already on your site, parking, what happens if it rains. Most chatbots would answer those, but they also make things up when they don't know, which is the last thing a small business wants on its website. The Website Chatbot only ever shows answers you have approved.

How it answers

  • An answer bank you approve. We draft the answers from your website and your brochures, menus or policies, and you approve or edit each one before anything goes live. The chatbot shows them word for word.
  • No guessing. The AI's only job is to pick which approved answer fits the question. If none does, the visitor gets your contact details and a person takes it from there. Asking it to "ignore its instructions" gets the same polite hand-off.
  • No visitor details collected. The chatbot never asks for names, emails or phone numbers.
  • On your site in one line. It's added with one line of code on any website, or with a WordPress plugin.

Your own AI account

The chatbot runs on your own AI account, so you pay the AI provider directly, usually a few cents a month for a small business. You own the account, and ending the service is as simple as switching off its key. Usage is capped per day and per month, with a limit per visitor, so nobody can run up the bill. The standard cap is 1,500 visitor questions a month; a larger cap is an add-on.

What you receive

Done for you is the only tier for now:

  • Setup: up to 80 approved answers drafted from your website and up to five PDFs, the chat widget for your site, the setup on your AI account, and launch.
  • The yearly care plan, paid a year at a time: hosting, a monthly re-check of your site that flags any answer whose source page changed, a monthly report of the top questions the chatbot couldn't answer so you can decide what to add, and up to 20 answer edits a year by email. If you don't renew, the chatbot switches off.

How engagements work

The setup is fixed-scope and fixed-fee, and the care plan is one fixed fee a year, so there are no monthly bills or hourly charges. You tell us about your business through the contact form, or get the price straight away from the estimate form below; we confirm the scope in writing, and work starts only when you agree. Everything is delivered remotely, and support is by email.
